Pouilly-Fume, Loire Valley, France. Sauvignon Blanc. Sustainable farming.  Domaine Francis Blanchet is a small 8ha estate situated in the quaint village of St. Andelain. Working alongside his son Mathieu, this is an 8th-generation family of winegrowers in Pouilly-Fume. St. Andelain has the distinction of having the largest percentage of “silex” or “silice” soil in the entire Pouilly Fume appellation. A nice balance of ripeness and crisp acidity with vibrant citrus fruit and a clean, mineral-driven finish. Drinking like a sunny summer day, this wine is easy to drink on its own or makes a great food wine.
