It's a real Egyptian scarab beetle mounted as the shell on a tiny turtle body that is floating in the center of a beautiful gold filled pendant. It's the craziest and quite possibly the cutest scarab necklace we've ever seen. Beautiful bugs AND turtles?! What more could you need? Symbolically, turtles traditionally represent health and longevity, while scarabs have long been the symbol of rebirth, resurrection and the eternal soul. Pair them together and you may just have some eternal life vampire powers going on.
