20 Minute Blacksmith Shop Tour and Forging Demo

For Individuals or groups up to 35 people. In this engaging , quick tour you will learn an abundance of information , watch us forge item(s) right in front of you, and  learn how the Village Blacksmith came to be.  Learn what drives us to continue this ancient craft and a Blacksmith's role in society both past and present. Walk in tours available most days after 2:30pm but, it is recommended to call at least an hour in advance. To enhance you tour experience guests are encouraged to dine at one of Main Street's great restaurants and browse the many shops and boutiques along the way.      Visitors can later embark on self guided walking tours of Gloucester's Historic Court House the oldest living Village in Virginia! See and tour the Pocahontas museum, Gloucester Museum of History as well as the many original buildings still in use from the 1700's.  G
