Available for pick up on Friday 11/8 8yr 10mo outstanding Single Barrel of 51% Rye, 45% Corn, 4% Malted Barley bottled at cask strength. Nose: Very sweet, with sugar on top. Caramel cream, sugar cookie dough, agave nectar, mint, and Texas tea. With time, vanilla, cherry, cocoa, citrus, and butterscotch. Pallet: Delicious & very in line with the nose, minus the sugar cookie. Sweet, cohesive, and complex. Caramel Crème Brûlée topper, mint, tea, cocoa powder, Luxardo cherries at the bottom of a Sazeraz. Oak, espresso, bitters and a sweet funk all tie this well rounded pour together. Slightly drying in a pleasant way showcasing the mint. Finish: Right down the middle, textured and long. Espresso, black tea, orange zest, oak, and anise initially.  Chocolate cherries, butterscotch, & caramel round out the rye spice leaving a sweet finish that goes the distance.
