Custom four barrel blend of 7-9 year MGP bourbon and rye whiskey.  Nose: Distinct sugar plums and sweet pipe tobacco right off the bat. The plum notes are juicy, and a Grape Jolly Rancher can be detected tagging along. Once aquatinted, peanut brittle, brown sugar, new car leather, and honey, with a pleasant berry compote surrounding the central theme. Palate: Sweet juicy plums and pipe tobacco. The profile is balanced and the viscosity is fantastic. The grape hard candy note presents like grape big league chew. The peanut note from the brittle is present as well. Sweet tobacco throughout with feint notes of cocoa and spearmint on the back end. Finish: Mild warming with plum juice and sweet tobacco leaf. The grape and peanut notes fade first, revealing baking spice notes of white pepper and nutmeg with spearmint and cocoa. The tobacco fades to a lovely sweet oak as things come to a close. The Plum Pipe Tobacco theme is present in every facet of this cohesive whiskey.
