2021 Caldwell VeTres Malbec, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina

Their hand selected, super-premium Malbec grapes grown in the Uco Valley's Los Chacayes region comprise this deliciously elegant wine. Deep ruby red wine with violet hues, its nose is refined yet expressive, full of black cherries, black pepper and black currants with subtle oak. Silky and full-bodied with a long elegant finish 90% Malbec, 5% Petit Verdot, 5% Cabernet Franc Caldwell Family Vines is a Black-owned micro-producer of unique Argentinian Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Franc Rosé wines, among others. We call our wines VeTres (“vay tres”).
