Black Walnut Block BW-392 3" x 3" x 14.7" 3.2 lbs. This large Walnut block includes both medium-brown heartwood and creamy brown sapwood.  Heartwood dominates the block, approximately 80% of the volume, and it gradually lightens in color toward the sapwood.   The grain is fairly linear throughout, with gentle swirls present near burl buds.  I see no cracks or other potential flaws.  There is one bughole visible on a face.
