Limited Edition Hockey Watch - 1965 CCM Hook and Rocker Wood Stick

Background: The concept of this product has been in the works for over three years. How can we showcase hockey history in a unique yet sophisticated manner? With this help of a watch craftsman we solved the puzzle on how to upcycle historic used hockey sticks into classic timepieces. This limited edition watch is constructed using the iconic 1965 CCM Hook and Rocker hockey stick employed by famous NHLers and the public they inspired. Why we chose this stick: CCM’s history goes as far back as 1899, and the company's gear dominance was in full effect for the first half of the 20th century. CCM produced helmets, skates, and sticks with over 90% of NHLers wearing their gear in the first half of the century. Competitors made more noise in the subsequent decades but during the 1960s, CCM Hooks and Rockers represented the beginning of the new “curved blade” era.
