S. Maw & Sons Ambrosial Shaving Cream English Pot & Lid

Available is an antique shaving cream pot and lid with ornate Gothic script and beautiful design. This English jar is one of the more rare designs and in very good antique condition.  The lid has strong black graphics and lettering that reads "S. Maw Son & Sons London..Ambrosial Shaving Cream Perfumed with Almonds." Detailed coat of arms below.  Light crazing. Small flea bites on lip of base. Overall very good condition.  Imported from England, where it was salvaged from a Victorian dump site. Excellent piece for the avid English advertising collector.
