Hand Quilted All-White Whole Cloth Quilt

A stunning hand quilted piece in intricate designs and rare all-white whole cloth. MATERIALS Quilt is 'whole cloth', without piecing or blocks. It has scalloped bound edges. It is hand quilted in white thread throughout with a central star medallion and wreath, set in a repeating square border. Quilting extends to the edges, with rows of circles, flowers, and geometric shapes. Medium weight cotton batting. CONDITION Good vintage condition. It has been hand washed and air dried. A few storage stains remain after washing. Fabric intact without major damage. AGE Exact age unknown. Estimated c1930 based on fabrics and techniques used. Found in Kansas.
