20s/30s Art Deco Dresser Set Butterscotch Pearl Celluloid By Velva Pearl

Marbled, pearlized celluloid and other early plastics are one of the great discoveries of the art deco era ... Here's a beautiful set of mostly Velva Pearl pieces (they also made faux pearls!), plus a couple that look as if they were made to go with the set.Here's an inventory, with some measurements:Velva Pearltray: length--10.75 inches ; width--7nail buffer in box: length-- 5.25 ; width--5 ; height: 1.75 (including handle)- nail scissors: too rusty to use, marked "Pyr Mayflower"- round accessory box with lid and nice butterscotch-candy feet, stamped "Made in Halex England": 4.75 inches across, about 3.5 tall- brush, stamped "Acwalite": 6.5 x 1.75 x 1.5 (tall)These pieces may not have been made together, but they make a great blended family. They have a sort of Moorish sense of curve and point that is so Deco. Condition is vintage good.
