Christophe Camu Chablis 2022

Chablis is grown in Kimmeridgian clay. Ever seen the white Cliffs of Dover? It's the very same soil and runs under the English Channel.  Every wine lover ends up being an amateur geologist in time... Lots of green apple and gunflint. I also often get a kind of "estuary" or seaside flavor and aroma-  not unlike the smell of the Bay on a cold day.  Try with oysters and clams. There isn't a better food pairing in the world. 100% Chardonnay. Serve cold.
