Prior to the maiden voyage in April 1912, Titanic's finishing touches were made in Belfast, Ireland. A traveling merchant seaman visited the then famous ship in the final fitting-out stage and decided to take a piece of scrap fabric as a souvenir. He gifted this sizable piece of green baize (felt) to his sister. It stayed with the same family until 1998. The green baize in this display is a small piece of that souvenir scrap fabric. Each sturdy display is a two-piece 2" x 2" (two inches) clear plastic snap case and comes with a spectacular signed COA. The stand shown is not included and can be purchased inexpensively in such places as eBay or Amazon. The fabric used in the photograph will not be the exact one shipped, actual piece may slightly vary in size, shape and shade. The display is signed on the back by Kevin Saucier, a respected 20+ year established collector and researcher, well-known in the hobby. It also comes with a larger more descriptive signed Certificate of Authentici
