Ulmus parvifolia  A native to China, this tree is often called the Drake elm. It's named for its distinctive patterned bark. The lace bark elm has an attractive grey and orange flaking bark and elliptic toothed leaves that turn yellow or reddish in the fall.  The lace bark elm is deciduous to semi-evergreen, and has a moderate to rapid growth habit.
