Antique Painted Pie Safe

- Dimensions: 36" wide x 14.75" deep x 55" high - Originally designed to store baked goods, this antique pie safe features beautifully perforated doors that enabled freshly baked pies, cakes, and breads to cool safely. Today, we think it'd be a gorgeous storage piece for china or linens. - This antique example originates from Pennsylvania, where it was created by hand using painted wood and punched tin panels. - We love the original mint paint hidden on the inside of its doors. When opened, they make a beautiful stage for displaying glassware or serving pieces. An ideal addition to a kitchen or dining area, this is a piece of functional and beautiful storage to be enjoyed for generations to come. - This piece is in good antique condition with signs of wear consistent with age and use.
