Nigerian Aquamarine - Etched and Gemmy - Double Terminated Medium Blue Crystal

Gem:  Aquamarine Weight:  2.063 grams Dimensions: 28 x 7 x 7 mm Clarity:  VS  -  There is a crystalline dislocation, lengthwise right down the middle - both halves are totally gem clean Origin:  Nigeria Treatments:  None Comments:   This Aquamarine crystals is totally fun!  It's a gemmy, medium blue drop of etched fun.  I love the patterns that etching creates on aquamarine crystals.  It looks very 'digital' to me, which I love, since it's a mixing of nature and math (nature IS math, but for this purpose, it's just neat to see basic geometry out there in nature.) This crystal is double terminated, with a 'feathered' type of basal termination, and a pointy, 'sharpened pencil' - like pinacoidal termination.
