Designer's Journal Entry: I remember my mother in a similarly patterned dress from a picture she took with my family in the 1960s or 70s. This was during their earlier sojourn in Southern California, hosted by good friends who had opened that hearts and home to our family from across the world. Going through those sepia toned pictures has always brought u
