Introducing the Blackbird Blade. Inspired after the SR-71 Blackbird, our vision was clear, to engineer the most badass blade ever built. Bringing a handful of minds rooted in the spec ops community with real-world experience, we’re confident we’ve built the ultimate no-nonsense blade. We started with the development of the handle first, as that is the point of contact with the end user. We’ve taken the average hand size of men and increased it a little to adjust for wearing gloves during combat or hunting operations and came up with the perfect handle length. Then we’ve developed our removable G10 handle to have a multi-axial ridge-line pattern (non-skeletonized version) which gives you the best sheathing and unsheathing grip possible while also giving you smooth handle adjustability along the length of the ridges for added comfort and tactile feel.
