AEM Universal High Output Inductive Dumb Coil

AEM 's High-Output Inductive Coils address the limitations of traditional inductive coils in high-performance applications. Unlike standard inductive coils, which provide long spark duration but struggle with delivering enough energy, AEM 's coils achieve both. This eliminates the need for a bulky Capacitive Discharge Ignition (CDI) system, which offers strong spark energy but with a shorter duration. AEM 's coils deliver over 100mJ of spark energy and at least 40,000 volts, matching the capabilities of CDI systems. Additionally, they maintain a long spark duration at full power, unlike CDI systems that rely on smaller preliminary sparks to simulate a longer duration. This design makes AEM 's High-Output Inductive Coils suitable for engines with forced induction or nitrous injection.
