Kohn & Co. was founded in 1896 in Hartford Connecticut. The brooch shown here is a wonderful example of the artistry that went into a Kohn & Co. design. Made of 14k gold, the brooch features an oval faceted amethyst and seed pearls with grape vines and leaves. I love the petit claw setting. 1.5"w x 0.75"h.
