Early Persian Kashan Bowl Restored

This is a wonderfully simple bowl from Persia, exhibiting the turquoise lustreware glaze for which ceramics from the Kashan region were celebrated. The glaze has copper metallic markings throughout. The bowl has been very carefully restored and shows several breaks throughout. I always note excellent restoration as a sign of value. The process is neither simple nor inexpensive. 7.5” x 2.25”
