A vintage Japanese Ikebana (flower arrangement) basket with handle. Remarkable weave technique transitions from delicate single diagonal open grid to more substantial quadruple weave. Woven by hand in Japan from caramel-colored bamboo, and featuring an interior cylinder. Excellent vintage condition.
