Rosalía Embroidered Throw

These special throws are made entirely by hand in Oaxaca, Mexico. First woven on treadle looms with their ends finished in tassels, they are then embroidered along both ends with various shapes by Rosalía, their namesake. Each throw features a slightly different spray of shapes, and therefore each is entirely unique. Rosalía is a member of the Chávez Santiago family who are well respected master weavers and textile artists in the Oaxacan craft community of Teotitlán del Valle.
