Daiyo Japanese Rice Wax Candles

These rice candles are made with 100% rice bran wax by artisans in Shiga prefecture by Daiyo established in 1914. Japanese candles are completely handmade and give very little smoke and larger and brighter flame than paraffin candles. Unlike traditional Ha-ze sumac candles, these rice bran wax candles are made using casts, although all are handmade. Unscented, no colour added, and made with 100% vegetable based materials. Sustainable, vegan and earth friendly. Packaged in a cylindrical cardboard box, sold in a pack of 20. Use with candle stand sold separately. Candle stand does NOT include.  Each candle has a small hole at the bottom and it needs to be used on the right size candle stand with a stick that is specially made for Japanese candles.  We recommend Ceramic Candle Stand RIPPOH or Cast Iron square candle stand "small" for these candles.
