ROCKAKU means "hexagonal", and these candles are hexagonal shaped which is so nicely balanced and stable. The hexagonal shapes are often found in the natural world such as turtleshell, snowflakes, honeycomb, columnar joint, etc., and this shape has been loved as motifs of good fortune and longevity since the ancient times in Japan.
