Replacement Barrel for Montblanc 164 Ballpoint

The resin barrel of the 164 Ballpoint seems to love to crack where it meets the upper barrel of the pen... even if you make sure not to overtighten it!To compound the problem, Montblanc not only asks for an exorbitant fee to "repair" the barrel, but they  also state that they will need your ballpoint pen for up to 8 weeks! Considering the fact that "repairing" the barrel consists of unscrewing the old one and screwing on a replacement, that seems bit out-of-hand. I feel this is a much better option!
