Amethyst and Chalcedony Geode

A galaxy of Amethyst crystals are lined by lovely blue and gray bands of Chalcedony on this incredible geode from Brazil. Hundreds of small Amethyst crystals glitter across the interior of this geode. The Amethyst crystals have a slightly reddish purple hue due to iron-inclusions within the crystals. These crystals are perfectly contrasted by banding of Chalcedony around the edges of the geodes interior. The geode has been lightly polished around the front edge with the center and back left in their raw state.
