Spirit Quartz Amethyst

This gorgeous geologic landscape of purple and orange crystal spires comes from South Africa. Often called Spirit Quartz or Cactus Quartz, this variety of Amethyst has a special crystal formation. Elongated primary crystals are naturally surrounded by a secondary mineralization of small Quartz crystal points. The plethora of points creates a lovely sparkle when tilted in the light. The soft purple hue of the Amethyst contrasts perfectly with the light orange iron-oxide inclusions for the perfect display. Approx. 5.25" L x 3.5" W x 3.5" D Need a display stand? This specimen has a flat base and can lay flat with spires pointing vertically.
