The perfect blend of Amethyst and iron inclusions in this Spirit Quartz specimen from South Africa. Often called Spirit Quartz or Cactus Quartz, this variety of Amethyst has a special crystal formation. Elongated primary crystals are naturally surrounded by a secondary mineralization of small Quartz crystal points. The plethora of points creates a lovely sparkle when tilted in the light. The soft purple hue of the Amethyst contrasts perfectly with the reddish-orange iron oxide inclusions for the perfect display.
