Uvarovite Garnet

This electric green mineral is a rare variety of calcium and chromium-bearing Garnet called Uvarovite. The tightly compacted, highly lustrous crystals create a brilliant druse across the front of this piece. It was found at the Saranovskii Mine, Saranovskaya Village, Gornozavodskii District, Perm Krai, Russia. Approx. 2" H x 1" W  x .25" DeepComes pre-mounted on a clear acrylic display stand (1.5"x1.5").
