1896 Two Vol. Complete Set “Sacred & Legendary Art” By Anna Jameson, Illustrated

This is an incredible two volume complete set of "Sacred & Legendary Art" by Anna Jameson. It is fully illustrated with designs from ancient and modern art. It is dated 1896 and was published by Houghton Mifflin & Company, The Riverside Press Cambridge out of New York and Boston.It is finally bound in half calf leather with marbled end boards. It is gold gilded on the top. The interior is clean and bright, and it is very readable. There is some scuffing and shelfware to the edges and the corners of the covers. The leather has dried out in some places and is cracking and faded on the spines a little bit. The end pages are marbled, and there is a previous owners book plate inside. There is some separation of volume one from the covers. The binding itself is still tight.Please feel free to reach out with any questions
