Masters In Art 1900-07 Complete 8 Vol Set Illustrated Monographs Bates & Guild

This is a stunning and very rare set - I have yet to come across another full set! It includes the full 8 volumes published from 1900 - 1907. It is the "Masters in Art" series and it features many artists throughout history.They are very large, handsome books. They are half bound in leather and have marbled boards for each cover and marbled end pages. They are gold gilded and the gold is in good condition. They include hundreds of illustrated monograph plates featuring artwork throughout history.They were published by Bates & Guild Company out of New York.
