Commonly called 'Hen and Chicks' for it's habit of sending out small clones of itself and spreading easily, this care-free plant will survive where other plants fail. It is a succulent, and stores water reserves in it's leaves, so forgetting to water is just fine with this plant. It's also fairly cold-hardy, so zone 5 and south can leave this out all winter.
