Chips

CHIPS is a Chiptune expansion pack sample library with 60 drum kits full of lo-fi kick and snare samples, glitchy hihats and percussion, waveform based lead and bass notes, bleeps and blips, and many other 8-bit drums and sounds. Each kit has both drum samples and melodic sounds, and even a single kit can be used to make chiptune music. All of the chiptune samples in this sample pack originated from 8-bit sound sources, mostly from popular hardware sound chips and some use of Reaktor for additional sounds and processing. The chiptune Maschine expansion pack has all kits and samples tagged for use with the Maschine browser. The MPC Expansion pack has all kits and samples organized for the MPC software browser. All kits for all formats use a similar drum and note sample mapping for easily switching among them during production.
