Chips

CHIPS is a Chiptune drum kit sample pack built around 60 drum kits and a wide range of one-shot samples, including lo-fi kicks, snares, hihats, percussion, blips, and other 8-bit sounds. It also includes waveform-based bass and lead notes, along with additional tonal one-shots. Each kit combines both drum and melodic elements, allowing individual kits to be used on their own to build complete chiptune patterns. All samples in CHIPS are sourced from 8-bit sound generation, primarily using classic hardware sound chips, with some additional processing and synthesis. The sounds retain the sharp, digital character typical of chiptune, with simple waveforms, limited resolution, and a focus on tone and rhythmic interplay between percussive and melodic sounds. Note: The melodic samples in this pack are included within the drum kits rather than provided as separate instrument patches. In formats without a native keyboard mode, such as Battery, these samples will need to be remapped for melodic
