Erdschreiber's Medium

Erdschreiber's Medium Modified from the original Plymouth seawater recipe. General purpose marine medium for xenic cultures [for bacteria-free cultures see reprints in Rosowski & Parker (1971)]. Directions For 3 L Total To 3 L of pasteurized filtered seawater (30 ppt) aseptically add each of the sterile components in the order specified. Vigorously swirl the contents of the flask to mix thoroughly.
