3/8 Barb x 1/8 NPT Brass Fitting for Filler Neck Vent Line Vapor Trapper Installations This fitting is designed for use with vehicles that utilize vented gas caps in place of  threaded gas tank vents. Common examples include: Early Ford Mustangs (1964½ through 1970) Many vehicles from the 1950s and 1960s Installation: 1) Remove the Filler Tube: Take off the existing filler tube. 2) Modify the Tube: Drill and tap the filler tube to accommodate the fitting. 3) Install the Fitting: Attach the 3/8" barb x 1/8" NPT brass fitting by screwing in the threaded portion of the fitting into the now-threaded filler neck hole. 4) Attach fuel hose to the barb portion of the fitting and run inline to Vapor Trapper. Be sure to run a ~6-8" vertical portion of the hose immediately from the filler neck before running to the Vapor Trapper to prevent any back splash from driving, or filling the tank, from entering the Vapor Trapper media.
