DirecTaq™ 1X Master Mix

Varizymes' DirecTaq 1X Master Mix saves time and money by enabling direct PCR amplification of unpurified templates. It contains a recombinant, truncated (lacks 5’ to 3’ exonuclease activity), highly thermostable DNA polymerase from the thermophilic bacterium Thermus aquaticus. The enzyme is thermostable up to 98 °C making it ideal for GC-rich templates, and is provided as a complete reaction master mix consisting of enzyme, reaction buffer, dNTPs, MgCl₂, and loading dye and only requires the addition of primers and DNA template. Once PCR is complete, the reaction products can be loaded directly onto an agarose gel for analysis.
