On offer are blue ancient glass beads sourced in Mali. Excavated in the areas of D'Jenne and Gao, these beads are stunning in their beauty. They are dated to Islamic Period, between 8th and 12th century AD. The listing is for ONE strand. There are 10 beads per strand. Strand A: Ten 11-13mm beads, 2 of them green Strand B: Eleven blue beads 8.5-14.5mm graduated beads Strand C: Ten 11-12mm blue beads Strand D: Seventeen (17) 8-13mm blue and teal beads The beads are ancient and are somewhat irregular in shape. Every bead is unique. They are in good to fair ancient condition, some showing chips, nicks, and minor cracks that do not impact the integrity of the beads.
