Large Antique German Marble Bead Y23_0028_B

 A very large antique African Trade German Marble glass bead from Lauscha, dating to the late 1800s. The bead is quite large, 38.3mm (1.5")  in diameter.  Very few of these beads survive without substantial internal cracking.  This one has internal cracking as well,  as seen in the photos.  The bead is intact on the outside, with only very small chipping, mostly around the aperture.  Please see the photos for details.    The glass is quite clear, with beautiful blue, white, pink, and yellow swirls.
