 
                                        Antique Austro-Hungarian Malachite Garnet Ring in Silver Gilt
Have you ever asked yourself, ‘Where does Victoria come up with all of those fabulous Austro-Hungarian jewels?’. Well, then you should know that I get most of them, including this one, from my friend Emily. She saves them for me, she knows I love them. When she finds a particularly good one, like this one, she gets a bit giddy right before she shows them to me. She usually has them wrapped in something soft, like a paper towel, and she slowly unwraps them in front of me, a little grin lighting the corners of her mouth. She knew I’d be going home with this fantastic ring long before I did! I think that this ring must have started life out as a small brooch, although it’s been marvelously converted into a stunning and unusual ring. Austro-Hungarian in origin and fully handcrafted, this stunning ring holds three rich, green cabochon cuts of malachite in wonderfully variegated tones and fourteen small faceted garnets which flash a bright red.
