Antique Cabochon Opal Diamond Drop Earrings

Intricate and enchanting, these late Victorian cabochon opal and diamond drop earrings tell a tale of timeless elegance. The large opals dangle like captivating portals into a clear blue ocean on a sun-kissed day; their ethereal beauty captures the essence of nature's enthralling hues. Handcrafted in about 1890, these antique English beauties are set with rich blue toned opals and dazzling diamonds. The earrings were crafted in 15 karat gold with silver set opals and diamonds. The stars of the show are two magnificent cabochon opals, each measuring about 15.5 x 11.6 x 3.5mm and weighing approximately 3.60 carats. The top of each earring is set with a 4 mm round opal from which suspends a mix of 7 diamonds 5 old European cuts and 2 roses, which are delicately placed to add a subtle brilliance to the earrings centerpiece. These beauties have been converted from wires to screw backs at some point, the screws are marked 9CT, we could re-covert them back to wires upon request. They are 32 m
