One of the things I like best around wandering the parks of Europe in the winter are the big clusters of mistletoe hanging high in the trees. I find myself consistently looking up to try and spot them.It’s not a wonder to me, then, that the artists of the Art Nouveau era used this potent symbol of life evergreen in much of their jewelry and art. This wonderful French necklace showcases lavaliere style drops shaped like mistletoe and set with creamy white pearls, toped with a lovely golden bow. This necklace is crafted in 18 karat gold and marked with the French eagle’s head mark and also a French makers mark.
