Grown on his farm San Nicolas at a medium elevation in the cool microclimate of Chalatenango, the "valley of water and sand", Gutierrez uses a Natural process to coax out jammy papaya and vanilla aromatics, ensconced in a winey mouthfeel. Our light roasting highlights the sweetness that producer, land, and variety bring to the cup, making this rare varietal lot perfect for pour overs and by-the-cup brews.
