We Taste - Lychee, orange-cranberry, creamy Breathtaking Lake Atitlán cools its surrounding rich volcanic hills with winds that create microclimates uniquely suited to specialty coffee. AProCafé farmer-members embrace this beauty with organic practices (like vermicompost) to sustain the land, water, and a range of Arabica varieties among shade trees and crops. For this microlot, hand-picked Gesha varietal cherries grown on an experimental plot near San Pedro La Laguna were cupped and classified by quality and cup profile. A selection of Gesha was chosen for its harmony of Ethiopia-like varietal character and exemplary Lake Atitlán terroir - blended into the creamy, aromatic coffee you're enjoying.
