We have found that coffees from this region tend to be nicely balanced and pleasantly fruity, especially when compared to the "fruit bombs" of their close neighbors in Yirgacheffe. Many indigenous coffee varieties still thrive on Ethiopia’s coffee farms. Coffee is typically intercropped with maize, barley, wheat, beans, and other crops that sustain the farmers' families.
