Afterthought Heel - Sock Tube Class

Are you ready to take your sock knitting to a whole new level?  Then join us for this fun class and learn how to place an afterthought heel and create a sock from a tube!  This class is for a confident or advanced beginner knitter who is comfortable working with sock weight yarn and ready to learn a new technique.  A basic sock pattern will be provided.  All classes and lessons must be purchased online.   Instructor:  Nancy   Prerequisites:   Knit Purl Homework: none   Skills Learned: Separate the tube Measure for heel placement  Picking up stitches for the heel Knit the heel (learn decreases) Kitchener stitch Pattern review for toe and cuff  Materials Required: One skein of sock yarn, purchased at Warm & Fuzzy and TUBED prior to class.  (Note: A speckled or variegated yarn is recommended to see the stitches easier.)
