That is, they’ve become so essential and integral to the way I use my camera, that they feel like they’re just part of the camera. This is how all strap attachments — correction: cameras — should be designed, full stop. On most days when I’m shooting in my home studio, I use my camera strapless. The anchor links just stay attached to the sides of the camera, out of the way. When I’m heading out to a client shoot or to take some street photos, I grab my favorite strap, snap it into the anchors and boom. Ready to go. It’s that simple, really. No knots or fancy hooks.
