This lovely mid 1930s dress features a v-neck cut with a semi-circular attached cape, and an optional cape ruffle and bow, The skirt hits mid-calf, and is slim fitted through the hips and flares below the knees. The dress fastens at the side. The neckline and armholes are finished with self bias facing. The dress is perfect for day or afternoon wear, and makes up nicely in flowing fabrics. I suggest cotton lawn, rayon, eyelet, lace, or other flowing, lightweight fabrics. Note– no slip is included, so if it's sheer you'll want to make or buy a slip!
