Fermentation Workshop Thursday February 26th, 6:30 to 10:00PM Chef Terry Walters A hands-on workshop to learn the why’s and how’s of making and eating fermented foods. Gut health is at the very core of our health – from the immune system, to digestive health, to weight loss, and even mental health. Learn about maintaining a healthy microbiome with home-fermented probiotic-rich foods. Participants will prepare each recipe in class to take home to ferment and enjoy. In this class Terry will bring some pre-made ferments for us to taste and use in a light meal. We will enjoy an artichoke and kimchi dip as well as grilled tempeh Rubens (I love them!). We will also use the beet kvass in a delicious and nitric oxide rich mocktail!
