Basque-Inspired Summer Cooking Class! Saturday August 9th, 6:30 to 10:00PM Chef Jennifer Magrey In this class we will take a flavorful journey through the Basque region and its neighboring culinary influences—where bold coastal flavors meet rustic countryside traditions. This menu celebrates the essence of summer with dishes that are both soulful and approachable, using time-honored techniques with a few modern twists. We’ll start with a traditional appetizer called Gilda Pintxo, these are bite sized skewers with olives, anchovies and pickled guindilla peppers. They are known for their salty, briny and slightly spicy flavor profile. A quintessential bar food in Basque Country, We will learn how to plank fish on the grill for a fun and versatile technique. Cedar-Planked Grilled Cod with Pil Pil Sauce, a nod to the Basque coast where seafood is revered. Grilled gently over cedar wood, the cod is paired with a luscious garlic-chili emulsion that brings depth and warmth. Next, we’ll exp
